She finished her career in pantomime as the cat in Dick Whittington and Puss in Boots – King Rat broke her collar bone by throwing her over his shoulder when he hogged the limelight by refusing to die on cue, and she ended the season taped up. Her obituary was in the Times in March 1992. Your blog brought back many memories. Thank you!
