Being far away from London it warms my heart to see these snowmen in my old haunting grounds of London Fields. I always think of it as a magical part of London.

The snowmen make me smile and hanker after there….

Wonderful snow guys. We also had them again on the big meadow in front of the house when there was a lot of snow last time. It’s always sad when they melt away again afterwards…

Fabulous. Who would have thought there was such infinite variety in the forms of the humble snowman. My absolute favourite was the dog, although there were several other contenders. Would be interesting to know what period of years the pictures covered as we don’t actually get a lot of snow in London, and what we do get is less and less all the time.
