How did it come about that their postwar replacements had none? Was this argued over at the time? The intention, I think, was that the postwar rebuilding would bring improved living conditions. Yet that evidently is not so. Was the critical missing factor financial or conceptual?

The community garden in the Blücherviertel, founded in 1986, is incredibly similar to the Cable Street Community Garden. Simply a paradise!
