That is a great suggestion, @David. I too am an Australian of East End descendant and I would love to know what traditions make a Cockney Christmas distinctive and how the East End also Huguenots celebrated Christmas.

@Gentke Author, can you please take up this suggestion? I would really appreciate learning more about this aspect of my cultural heritage.

What you do is – you share, and disseminate, some sense of justice, integrity,fairness, and HOPE, that many people can relate to and want to be a part of, as well as telling the story and the history of Spitalfields and its environs. I hope you will be able to continue for many a long year.
