A lovely but very poignant story. I remember going to see the film Bright Star in the cinema a number of years ago that told Keats and Fanny’s love story.

GA, thank you for the lovely tour of the Keats house in Hampstead and the recounting of his years there. It is one of many “bucket list” destinations I had planned in London, but did not get to. So glad that the property has survived. I know that the institution hosts many public programs appropriate to the legacy of John Keats. I did enjoy wandering around Hampstead.

I was passionate about Keats having studied his work both at school and at university in the 1970s. I am so glad this house exists and is open to visitors.

A beautiful, simple house in which John Keats lived. Tragic also his life story. With this background, the contents of his poems appear all the more significant.
