Mudlark’s were the poorest of the poor trying to scrape a living in a precarious environment. I am sure they would be bemused to find out that it is now a recognised hobby with so many participants, and that people throughout the world would eagerly await YouTube videos showing their favourite mudlark’s latest finds.
