I absolutely adore the drawing of Leadenhall Market. Back in the mid 80s I worked at No 3 Gracechurch Street which was opposite the entrance (there was a pub next door called The Half Moon I think). I used to love going for a wander through Leadenhall and vividly remember all the feral cats sitting outside the butchers shops. There was one particular cheap café we used to go to for Cornish pasty, chips, peas and gravy, happy days!

I worked at Bankside Gallery for a short time, Alfred is a member of the RWS and I really admire his work as it brings street scenes to life.
