My family are sad to hear that there is going to be a development at brick Lane which has had a lot of history of different cultures living in the area, our family on my grandmother's side as had connections with brick Lane during the 2nd world war and we always look forward to visit this historical place that holds so many memories not only for us but do many people.
With old buildings such as described above there could be covenants on buildings or land they may protect such buildings. History is so important to all age groups more museums are needed in such areas
The Harris family.
