Thank you again for bringing us these wonderful images of the East End of London taken by Tony Hall. Whilst I live in West London, the images equally and accurately reflect many of the sights I used to see growing up during the fifties and sixties. The corner shops, which were a vital part of community life, and all the brand names current at that time; Tizer and OMO being just two of many that I recall. Tony Hall was clearly a sensitive observer of people and his environment and it is wonderful to have these photos for posterity. It would be lovely if they could be published in a book, as I for one would spend many a happy hour looking at them. With thanks. Diana (W6)
