Her cafe was amazing. So many things and one day she put heaven knows how many thing into a container for me to take and eat at Arnold Circus. I remember that nothing was particularly delicious but that didn’t even matter. It was her spirit.

She cooked some delicious meals a couple of times when I had friends round for dinner, even driving over from Richmond where she lived one evening with steaming bowls of food.
