Your post this morning, with the joyous photos, reminded me that sometimes we have to re-commit to our enjoyment of such things — they become more precious and more valued, as a result of the pause. My hope is that we all have an even deeper enjoyment of our lives, as a “yield” of this challenging and often-discouraging time.

What a shame that it can’t go ahead this year. I wonder what the thinking is about the Lord Mayor’s Show and whether that will happen in 2020?
