My mouth is watering so much that I needed a bucket. Had a friend who’s mom made Cappelletti for Christmas every year. Hundreds of them, OMG so lovely in a bowl of chicken broth with some parmesian . My sister in law is Polish and her family make hundreds of pierogi for Christmas.best of both worlds 🙂

GA, what a delightful story about Maria and her son Nevio Pellicci preparing Christmas raviolis after hours to serve the family only on Christmas Day. They sound delicious! Interesting that they are served in chicken broth, rather than a tomato sauce – or “gravy” as some local Italians call it over here.

Tradition, tradition. I must make it to E. Pellicci’s when I am next in London.
