Your portrait of Maria’s café and Henrietta’s larger than life personality and singing give this blog a special purpose for the education of those who are yet to come in this world and set foot in Spitalfields.
Just for the information those of us who are not fortunate enough to visit the café on Fridays the Basa fish sold in the freezer cabinets of Aldi makes an excellent and healthy alternative for a Friday nights supper of Fish, Chips and mushy peas.
