Congratulations on the plaster off. I know from my own experience how liberating this feels. And ditto to the doctors and nurses at the Royal London, who also fixed mine. I , too, had a very good experience at the Fracture Clinic there. Hope the arm carries on healing well!

Good news on recovery and I would loved to have attended meeting Monday, but am caught up in Scotland. Had to comment on main picture, what an incredible engraving of The Royal London and Whitechapel. I could only barely recognise it from the building. Wish I could get in a time machine and just walk around in that time for a day. Incredible.

Like a previous contributor, I am very pleased to hear that you are no longer plastered!! The Royal London seems to have done a brilliant job at fixing you together again. We also had reason to be grateful to them as they saved our friend’s life with a triple by-pass giving him many mote years of an active life. Well done to the Royal London.

Although I live in the USA at the moment my dad was brilliantly looked after in the Royal London Hospital in 1959 when suffering with cancer and likewise my cousin last year. By coincidence your kind comments about the staff at the Royal London Hospital coincides with National Grateful Patient Day [Sept. 7th] here in the USA. Today is also National Beer Lovers Day. I hope your injury doesn’t prevent you from enjoying that one. Good luck.

Well done for sending out our book orders and keeping up the momentum for The Bells campaign even while ‘armless and supposedly taking a break.

GA, great that you are out of your cast. What a long time to be so incapacitated when taking a shower and doing everyday things.

Jill, I often wonder about the number of Spitalfields followers too. Just recall that when Mr. Pussy died a few years back, there were about 300 responses. I suspect GA’s audience is huge although most folks do not post that often.
