The fact that they appear translucent from inside the shop was an additional and unexpected bonus…or should I say just as I had planned!

No chance of the court being rigged or influenced by the developers. With all of the protections the tree has, I have no doubt the court will find the Town Council in violation. But be diligent in following up. If the decision goes against the developers the tree may still have an “accident” during construction that will destroy it or lead them to get permission to destroy it. Developers are aggressive in getting their own way. They’d rather destroy that tree and pay a fine if they can get away with it. So you will still need to be vigilant even if you win.

That sculpture is amazing. It’s beautiful in the window but it’s true beauty can only be appreciated from inside, with the light shining through. From the outside it looks like a totally metal sculpture. Inside you realize the leaves and fruit are glass or fabric or something that allows the light to shine through.
