              could i solicit some advice from your remarkable knowledge of the suffragettes in the east end of london. i have an old photo from circa 1912 of a suffragette ? .It was taken in a (house/studio . number 7 adelina grove. sidney street. stepney east london)    the lady is wearing a sash and a long edwardian dress she also has a small overgarment on her shoulders and what appears to be a twin coloured flower .  sepia photo the whole photo tipifies a suffragette .Has this house road named and numbered any suffragette connections .Any info however small would be appreciated . regards  h.j.c.]]></description>

I am fascinated to see that she was a suffragette and am in admiration of her and her photography and work with Emmeline Pankhurst.]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[ELFS stall in the Roman Road,is outside the White Horse as it became in the 1950s,60s,a very good music venue for us Boys of the East End back then, dressed in our Mohair Suits, and Stans hand made shoes,all on a good night out with no more than a few pounds between us,good history lesson these old pictures are a real eye opener,never new they where,that strong in the East End the Suffragettes, good to know,thank you,GA]]></description>
