They simply wanted more. They are destroying the very cultural and natural attractions that make their property development desirable in the first place.

I agree with the authors above: publicly shame the elected fools who fell into line with the developers. A continuing nasty fight has stalled poorly thought out development plans for the Jolly Boatman site near Hampton Court Palace.

Please, continue this fight.

Democracy seems to be failing us these days when big money is given license to run roughshod through regulations and protections. – It just sets another precedence for them to do the same again and again. The more it’s allowed to happen, the easier it gets next time!
