I read the latest Schrodi’ update and looked back to his ‘moving in’. Loved reading of his new affinity with you now – and of his ‘due respects’ to the former house feline here. We had in our old house in Peckham a ‘changing of the guard’. Our 2 very old part Burmese cats finally passing a few years back and the quite civilised garden-wanderer shall we call him, named Zorro by us and given some food, rest and entertainment when he appeared, wild at first (untouchable) and somewhat a grumpy cat by nature of a hard existence sitting on the wall as we laid the last cat to rest in the garden. Paying his respects. Cats have a knowing we cannot understand. Zorro became a most biddable chap, a very intelligent cat and good companion. When we left it was with sadness, but with others also looking out for him – a canny fellow he kept his options open – thought ‘his’ gardens should be where he stayed.

Just found this. Happy for you both! Mr. Pussy was exceptional and Schrodinger looks like he might very well be too, in his own way. Looking forward to receiving my copy of The Life and Times of Mr. Pussy! I am also inspired by your beautiful needlepoint blanket. I decided at 2:00am to shop on eBay for a few pieces that I plan to make into a textile to cover a Victorian Chair. Your blog is a comfort and an inspiration. Thank you.

He looks just my cat Watson! I got mine at the shelter 7 years ago and he has been a happy since! Good luck with yours, I love black cats!

I am so relieved that another cat has found his way into your life. Mr Pussy was a special individual who lives on through your blog and book. We can never replace a beloved animal but we can find space in our hearts for another companion, special and unique in the cast of animals we share our lives with.
Schrodinger has fallen on his feline feet!
