I was so pleased and excited to read all about Lilo Blum. I used to ride at her stables in Grosvenor Crescent Mews in the 1950s. Robert Grigg and I used to have lessons with George Rigby every Sunday morning, we looked forward to it all week. Both of us loved riding Camille, but sometimes got to ride Dizzy instead. Dizzy was lovely, but a bit slow! You will remember Robert Grigg, Lilo, I am sure, he was Roy Grigg's son, Landlord at The Grenadier. Old Barrack Yard has changed so much and the lovely block of flats where you used to live has now gone. As you say, things change. Thank you for those, wonderful and carefree days riding in Rotten Row.

I look forward to your next interview and hope you get to read this comment.

Very best wishes, Wendy Morrison

She was very entrepreneurial from her refugee days a good business talent. Lived through WWII after being Blitzed by her fellow countrymen. Keep smiling nice lady. Poet John - PS because smiler you are beating that final barrier old age, you still have some .....zing.
