They were dreamy peace-time days working through a recession and beyond. These artist were so enthusiastic it was their life with some interchange of ideas between them. Number of paintings for the whole group of East Enders must be in excess of 1,000 and counting. I am sure Friederike & team has gathered for us the very best of all. Pearls art was different as shown almost of illustration status, some artist loved a BW medium it did give them quickness of application and was cheaper. Poet John. PS – Mums son Dan must be proud, more fame is yet to come for Pearl in the big book venture watch that space.
