I notice that most of them seem to be reasonably well shod apart from the poor match girl who has bare feet!!]]></description>

The image man has a pug with him, looking very like Hogarth&#039;s pug &quot;Trump&quot;.  In those days pugs had not the squashed faces of today but proper noses.]]></description>

Guide- and I assume they had a cow or two in their yards. Maybe they were drovers who had stayed on in London?]]></description>
