I concur. Early this morning, as I listened to Public Radio (in New York State), I heard the announcer briefly say, "Today is the anniversary of the Great London Fire" or some such. In my half-sleep, I thought.......Oh, I trust that the Gentle Author will illuminate that for me today. And that's exactly what happened. I totally agree that these relics would make a magnificent and meaningful exhibit in a place of importance. The fragment of Viking grave marker made my
heart skip a beat. It radiated with mystery.

This is what I call a super blog again by GA. Most of these artefacts are stored or binned it seems in odd corners and shelving blocking up the system. Dare I say it; get rid of the low grade interest bits and pieces and store off site or loan to others. Bring the rest into a modern presentable museum display I am sure the visitors would enjoy this added feature, with more throughput by them. The present administration are duty bound to take care of these historical artefacts they have inherited, there has to be a compromise somewhere. Best wishes to St Pauls your No 1. PS Have been to outstanding St Paul's just amazing. Those who have not been will not be disappointed its a holy place with plenty of Zing. John B
