I think it really highlights the creativity and imagination involved in an art form which I think is often not given the credit or seriousness compared to other forms of art and expression.

I would be interested to see pictures of some of the other looks you describe in the article (I think I spotted one of them on the website you have linked) but the use of colour on those posted is wonderful.
