Another friend called her daughter Ramone. My sister’s called Sheena, no tribute to the band. She got fed up of people singing ”Sheena is a punk rocker’ at her when she was growing up.

A likeable band who were part of the soundtrack of my later teeens. Great photographs that capture the era brilliant.

Every band wanted to play the Roundhouse. You were ‘IT’ and made had it. Such a shame they have all gone now, even Lou Reed.. How time flies …..So quickly. Great Guys who just did what they enjoyed. I think their name The Ramones and the big hair and glasses got them more noticed than their actual music.
