So sad to hear this. Angela was a charming, inspirational woman. I was very privileged to meet her and interview her for Spitalfields Life. She was lovely proof that a life can encompass many interests, enthusiasms, passions, and new beginnings.
And her scents were / still are gorgeous.

Without her nose does the shop carry on – selling what is already formulated? The future of her shop will be something difficult for her family to think about just now. What a sad loss she is to the East end!

This is very sad news, but also a life beautifully remembered. I always found Angela such a warm and interesting person to talk to, and her perfumes unique and sublime. And the anti moth spray works a treat! She will be missed.

Thank you for letting us into Angela’s secret world of perfumery with good illustrations. The answer to good scent is the perfumer must have a good nose or sniffer this lady had. Being a solo artisan she could experiment and blend at will no real commercial pressures here, perhaps it was a fun thing for her. So sad this smiling lovely lady has gone. I hope daughter Kate is stepping into the breach. PS Today a lot of commercial fragrances lose their intensity within hours of applying the wafting has gone that’s business for you. John
