But what labours to produce some of these items. A lot of tokens like these were used at a much later date to try to buy items. I received a bag full of them (together with foreign coins) that had been collected by Boots the Chemist in London in the 1960s. Most of them were much newer than these and far less artistic. I think I’ve still got them somewhere
