I so much like reading the stories of Spitalfields, Whitechapel etc. thank you so much for your efforts in bring this to us....

My own Gt Gt Gt Grandfather lived at 3 Colt Lane in 1847 and it was through him the family came to London from Bedfordshire c 1809. Sadly John ended up in the Union Workhouse, Charles St.Whitechapel (Mile End) in 1871, 
From then on my ancestors were all born Stepney, Whitechapel,Bethnal Green, Shoreditch etc. so your stories and photographs are of great interest.......]]></description>
