As a pub lover I believe that London has some of the best and most unspoilt pubs in England. During my regular visits there I love to spend time in some of my favourites. Number one for me is The Speaker in Westminster. Not an East End pub but the genuine article. Great beer, no TV or music. Just traditional peaceful and convivial. My other go to is the Coach and Horses in Soho. A storied unspoilt place with great literary associations. And if in the East End I never miss a visit to the Camel in Bethnal Green. Its best to go there during the daytime when it has many local East Enders in for a pint or two.
