I am so pleased to read that this Mission makes every effort to find the homeless somewhere to live and presumably work to do. This is what is needed to restore these people’s confidence and to get them back as useful members of society. I speak as one who has watched for over 20 years now the behaviour of a group who also claim to help the homeless, they occupy premises next door to my business, and so far as I can tell offer no such help as their clients keep coming year after year after year. Most of them seem to sink further and further into alcoholism and in to drug abuse, we have found a supply of drugs left for collection by one of them in our outside drain!! Used needles can also be found close by. I assume as the clients at Tony Miller’s Mission are given positive help that this sort of behaviour is not tolerated. This is what is needed to address the problem and we, and the homeless here, need a Tony Miller!

Tony is as worthy to contemporary society as the Victorians who started Whitechapel.

We celebrate athletes, the rich, royalty…..celebrating those who make a difference at ground level is what can bring positive change.

Believe it or not: such missions become more and more necessary in Germany too! “Thanks” to the filthy capitalism and the damned Euro…! — (Keep the British Pound as long as possible!!)

Men like Tony Miller do an very important job nowadays!
