He was 30 then but died aged 51 in Hampstead. The Wells family I’m tracing were mainly from the Walworth, Newington, Old Kent rd area. Wondering if Rob is a descendant of the same family?

Simply riding their bike into the wrong postcode could mean they lose their life at the hands of people of their own age. And whatever happened to all those cast iron bollards? I remember they were very common across London when I was young – they served a purpose and were an attractive and integral part of the street furniture. I suppose the council raised a few quid by selling them for scrap.
