However, the massive scale (and the black and white painted calligraphic strokes) collect in me long ago memories of standing in front of Picasso’s “Guernica” …

Yet, there’s a flourishing of idiosyncratic bestiary-personages with a particularity all their own. I wish I could walk right into that wondrous world tonight – completed or not.
