These people who allow these lovely old buildings to be pulled down, and replaced with monstrosities, that are now making our London look like any other city in the world. Tourists come here just to see these. as they do not have history as we do, our Monarchies having given their names, to such beautiful workmanship.
They are pulling down Beautiful old buildings, that have been carefully thought about and crafted, which must have taken a lot of time and effort to do. That's what 'Victorians' did.
The buildings today are put up willy nilly with no thought, and why so huge.
The old buildings we were shown as children, were part of our history, and what the Blitz did to a lot of London. soon Children, will not have them to look at and see what craftsmanship went into them, There are not many today, that have the knowledge or expertise to be able to do them now.
I have told the Mayor before, he should get off his Bike and Walk, looking at all the history the buildings, be it little or big that makes our London great.
The views from the bridges on the Thames are showing a different sight every time I go there. And I try to think what has been hidden away now,
