Thanks for sharing it. I had a sleazy period, as a young man, living in London. I went to the Abcat Cine Club several times, and enjoyed myself. I also visited a few other sleazy joints. Like Ye Olde Axe strip club, at the pub of the same name. That’s still going, I believe. I stumbled upon another private porn cinema club, similar to Abcat, in Farringdon, when I had a job there, many moons ago. I can’t recall the name or exact location of that one though. Personally I think such places are alright, frankly, and our society is way too prurient, prudish and buttoned up. I think Abcat was actually burned down, with people in it, who died, in some London gang-land thing. So Bob was undoubtedly wise to get out, like he did. Seems like a bygone era now!
