I discovered KO/Lonsdale Gym,back in 1985 & Bill trained me & My friend Liam.We had many fantastic sessions & access,through Bill,to busy bodies,underground state of the art Gym,back in those days,just off oxford street.Bill would train us most of the day & over the weekend & obviously we had to break,but if it wasn’t for meeting Bill,I don’t know where I may have headed.I played at it as Bill put it & had a talent,I now realise bill was trying to nurture. Laurent,is that you,when we fought at the philip game centre,for Bill / ourselves lol & the whole team won that day?? Anyway,great memories.Regards to all John O’farrell & that’s “Ginge 2 U Bill 🙂

Bill trained me in Muay Thai for several years back in the late 80s early 90s.
A truly amazing time in my life,
many friends made and great training and fighting.
Bill is a super talented guy and a wonderful coach and mentor. KO LETS GO!!!

Bill Judd is an absolute legend. He trained my son and it’s thanks to him and the staff at KO that my son is confident, strong, kind and caring. Bill instills a positive state of mind, yes he is a mentor who supports all around him. My son trained from 9 yr old -16yr, he is having a break at the moment but he will return to training and it will be at KO.
This is a brilliant article, well written and gives an honest account of the gym. It would have been good to mention Dave Paquette though as he was a major influence in training at the gym.
If you want your kids to stay away from drugs and crime, get them a pair of boxing gloves and take them along to KO, they will turn into well rounded adults and do you proud!
