					<description><![CDATA[I am a great admirer of the work of Barnett Freedman.   This piece paints a fascinating portrait of the man.  Many people, in the book world especially,  will know his work without realising it.  The Complete Nonsense of Edward Lear still has his design on the jacket which I remember from childhood.  He deserves greater recognition and I am very much looking forward to the exhibition in Chichester.]]></description>
