My mum was born in the East End in 1912. It is mind boggling to see how much London has changed in a comparatively short time. My 23 yr old cannot believe some of these pictures and thought the cow must be there purely for ‘decoration’. She speaks as someone who lives in the uber trendy part of London where things l like that happen!
