If u get to read this phil,this is jerry,i used 2wrk at com-cab wben u had the gym(fond memories)..u were always a force of life and inspiration to the people who used the gym and also to those who did’nt…and a good story teller and all round raconteur..i’ve been living in the states for 15yrs (las vegas)..but my old mate brian flanagan told me u were doing fitness class’s at a sport centr in,wapping..anyway the nxt time i’m in london,i will try and catch up wth u..take care..regards jerry.

Hi Phil,

I’m sure you won’t remember me but I thought it would be worth a try! My name is Hedy and I am a Canadian gal who came to England after I graduated university back in 1985. I stayed with relatives in Southgate and Hendon and had a part time job at Hillel House. I ran the coffee lounge for all the cabbies. If this doesn’t ring a bell, perhaps you remember me from your Tai Chi classes. I was acquainted with Arnie Greenspan, Alan Gordonfeld (Photographer), Lofty, Barry and Stuart Scheef. Once I even took photos myself at Physicab!

If you remember me, it would be great to hear from you. If not, at least I tried! I wish you good health and happiness and please also let me express my deepest sympathy on the loss of Marjory. She was a very lovely lady.

dear phil i dont know if you remember me but we all grew up in hanbury st. we was both cab drivers i have to tell you i was shocked to here about ivan we kept in touch and i only spoke with him two days before he passed away i tried to get your fone no. from your sister in law but she had her answer fone on i wish you long life i hope this reaches you regards judah

Very impressive article. Just reading this article about Phil creating a strong energy. I can understand how much his Tai chi can do. I know Phil very well and whenever he speaks about Tai chi, I could see his instant flow of energy and that spreads to the listener.
