Brian and I boxed for Woodford Garden City as amatures, I was 15 at the time.He lived in South Woodford and I lived in Woodford Green we both joined the Club on the same day. His name was Hudsmith at the time around 1958 we were good friends he had a sister called Lorraine and I think his dad was a milk man.The club was based at Doctor Barnados Homes hence the nameGarden City. Whe it folded the boxers moved to Repton Boxing Club. Brian did well I hope he is still around.
