					<description><![CDATA[A lovely piece indeed.  Thank you very much.  I worked for the World Service when her husband, Austen Kark, was in charge there.  It was through their friendship with PD James that she came to speak at a Dinner.  I was delighted to discover these two distinguished authors in the ladies sorting out clothes the one was offering the other for an overseas trip, for all the world like a pair of excited schoolgirls.
