Both as you would know were in the Mile End Road. I’m not sure which I worked for when The Two Puddings was on my list to call to regularly dress the window displays which I seem to remember ran along a corridor leading to the bars. I remember when I was finished I was always offered a drink before I left for my next job at The Bridge House Canning Town. I left the brewery in 1964 to work as creative director with RCA Records.
I’m a Barking boy , retired and living in Wiltshire. I must admit I’d love to move back to the EastEnd…I miss it badly. Must be something to do with “roots” I suppose. Can’t afford too !.
