I’ve been living in New Zealand for the last 15 years, and just heard today that Paul died in March supposedly from covid-19. He was a good friend and I treasure the memories I shared with him. To say he was larger than life would an understatement — he could also be just a wee bit wild. I met Howard a couple of times, and visited his model making workshop in Essex. Now I am more sad than I can say about Paul’s passing. What dreadful irony that t-shirt Paul is wearing is.

I arrived in 1995 to visit my Aunty Rachel Lundall Karslake, a few months after my uncle passed away. What beautiful memories visting his grave in Kersterfield, Oakhamton. A place i will always treasure in my youth.

I worked in the Bell my boss in those days was Mr Pollock we used to have a lot of customers lunchtime from local shops and stalls my time there was memorable
