I loved reading about these 3 lovely ladies especially as I know dear Mavis. It is great that she has always lived in Spitalfields all her life and continues to walk these streets! We love seeing her and for me she does not look 80 years old and certainly does not act it! She is funny, cheerful and witty. A lovely lady. A legend!

Tomorrow I, too, will be eighty and it was just so heartwarming to read the stories of these 3 ladies and to see their beautiful faces! My body may be feeling the passing decades but in my hear I’m still only twenty-nine!
God bless all three and grant them many more healthy and contented years.
