I've just bought 15 or so 8mm films that were shot in the 1960s by this artist - family films and art studies too - some great footage.
I wondered if the family were aware of these?
Kind Regards

His name first - Daniels - and then his photograph pulled me into your blog this morning: what a lovely man! Something familiar about that face - or am I imagining it? My maiden name was Daniels , my grandfather Joseph John Daniels was a one-time Master of Spitalfields, and the family fruit and vegetable business was founded by my great grandfather, Joseph Samuel Daniels. Joseph John married Rosabel Senecal (of 37 Spital Square, of course!), and they lived at 2 Fournier Street, just across the road from the market.

I would dearly love to make contact with Alfred Daniels, just in case we are related.

Would it be possible to have his email address, please? (Or would you very kindly give him mine? Thank you for any help you might be able to offer... Rosie

Alfred Daniels was one of my tutors at Hornsey Art School many years ago.
It was his first teaching job on leaving the Royal College of Art.
