I live in Scotland now, and am lucky enough to have a reasonable size garden which I have made into an organic heaven for birds, butterflies, bees, and every kind of insect.

It may be! John Stokes was originally from Ireland, a ‘Tip’ man (Tipperary). He has now moved to Essex. Happy to put you in contact if you would like.

So glad everyone is enjoying the blog – a wonderful book and site. We have more gardeners now from many more countries including Singapore, South Korea, Japan, India, Taiwan and the Western Isles. Lots more children and 2nd and even 3rd generations! Sadly, our waiting list is 5++ years long. Recently, we had a grant for raised planters for over 60s, so plan to fast track some people on the waiting list.
