Re: the tiles, well spotted. They include; Noah’s Ark, the Burning Bush, Adam & Eve, Jacob’s Ladder, a Crucifixion, Moses in the Bull-rushes, Moses with the decalogue and Samson destroying the Temple! I have a passion for Delftware tiles (as those familiar with my work will know, or come to know!).

I love the detail in your pictures. I noticed the biblical imagery in the fireplace tiles in today’s picture.

They remind me of the Gentle Author’s favourite fireplace in Spitalfields.
