It is another very moving story of a remarkable Eastender and Poet .
Thank you for all your always interesting and inspiring portraits
I was introduced to your stories by my friend “ Jimmy Cuba “
My children were born in the East End .
We lived in Buttesland street for 25 years ,
We had the old cinema in Pitfield street for over 20 years ,
We used it as a warehouse and a kitchen for our businesses ,
We sadly sold it when I separated from my partner ,
My son Timothy still lives in the East End with his family ,
Tim has a shop in Columbia Road and he lives above the shop with his wife and son ,
I arrived in London in 1974 from Cambodia via Paris ,
Myself and my three children are proud and very happy to call ourselves Londoners .
