Interesting article especially as my Gt Grandfather’s sister (Amelia Ebbs), then married to Frederick Miller declares on daughters birth certificate (Alice Amelia Miller) her address as 17 Fournier St. in 1888.

Please put me out of my misery and tell me the paint colours used, they are perfect and I am a tortured soul trying to match them to samples I have to identify them…a real inspiration to see what can be achieved, thank you for sharing.

Gorgeous restoration. I’m wondering about loss of the historic fabric. Why was restoration to the original design (with insertion of so many modern elements) deemed more worthy than preservation of the Mission House? What was the thought process here?

This is a stunning record of a worthy work- am envious of all the people who worked on it- id have helped paint it for free! I was born up the rd at no.12 – it was rented by art students then- in the 60’s. hope it is going to be possible to visit- G and G probably wont let me into No.12.
