I love the way that some of her work overlaps some of yours, and this is just a minute sample of what she’s painted.

I also wonder (given that I’m looking back from near the end of 2023) what she’s painted since and her thoughts on the horrors that are still ongoing in her own country?

Perhaps I’ll find out, if I have the time to catch up to your present day…

Fascinating! I really like Olha’s paintings – and they go so well with your pieces. Wouldn’t it be fun if she could paint the scenes and people you write about each day? Maybe add them to the article later from yours or Sarah Ainslie’s photos?
