I&#039;ve just become interested in homing pigeons and I&#039;m finding out just how competitive the racing is.  One of the things I&#039;m looking into is keeping a loft of white homers for release at weddings, funerals, etc.  I know it&#039;s been done all over the place, but haven&#039;t seen it much around here.  I came across an e-book on pigeon racing success which sounds interesting.  I just bought it myself.  In case anyone else is interested, the website is:

					<description><![CDATA[Bletchley Park has a display about Pigeons at War.  I had no idea about their role until I visited there a couple of years back at the behest of one of my children who is into maths and code breaking.  It&#039;s well worth the trip out to Milton Keynes since the estate is  incredibly atmospheric and staffed by volunteers who worked on the original machines.
