Ricardo, nice to see your photo and read about Puma Court.
I met Ricardo when he first arrived in London, at that time he was having English lessons! I saw him at several addresses before he met Eric and moved to Fournier Street where I visited from time to time and saw the work progressing on the house.
Ricardo is also an accomplished pianist and at Fournier Street he had a grand piano which he would often play on for me.
I met him once by chance in the street after his move to Puma Court but have not yet taken up an invitation he offered me to visit his latest home, maybe one day....

In the late eighties and early nineties I had the pleasure of meeting Ricardo Cinalli through my job as a heating engineer, it was a fantastic time to work for someone that had great expectations and vision it was not an easy undertaking looking at the scale of work that had to be perfectly correct as Ricardo is a perfectionist. It was a very slow process involving numerous visits, but in the end I took great satisfaction from the experience. On the occasions that I returned and saw how he had transformed a once wreck into what it is now is fabulous. He is one of the nicest and talented people I have had the pleasure to know.

I met Ricardo in Örebro, Sweden, in the early -80:s when I worked at the Örebro Läns Museum. He came as a fresh gust of wind invited to exhibit some of his fantastic translucent tissue paper works. I sat model for him, and he made a giant impression of my big toe. It was fascinating to see how he slowly, layer by layer, constructed the virtual 3-D image. I still have the signed pencil scetch of the toe that he gave me, hanging on the wall, the original is in the collection of the museum. It is with delight that I see how he has developed his art over the years and still has kept up the fascination of portraying the human body.
